It's official. I have a high school graduate! Although I cried my eyes out putting together a video for her party, somehow my eyes managed to stay dry during the graduation. I have a feeling that won't be the case in August when I drop her off at college, but for now, I'm attempting to write this newsletter as she asks me to make croissants and drops the cat on my lap to pet. Such is the life of a romance author in summer. :)

 

In other news, I have a HUGE announcement I've been sitting on for weeks. Months. Years, really. While devising a way to reward you, my amazing readers who make it possible for me to tell stories for a living, the perfect idea finally landed. Announcing, the Mecca Romance Passport. You can read more about it here or wait for the dedicated newsletter with additional details, but essentially you can collect digital stickers to turn into real prizes. The first set of stickers dropped for the Crossover Club members. (Psst, if you haven't guessed it by now, join using password “damon” if you've crossed from one of my genres to another.) More to come, but I can't wait to see where we will go together in the future. 

Just before I sat down to write this newsletter, I finished a bloody battle between the hero of our next story, Sir Rystan (a supporter of Matilda's) and three of the king's men. Set one year before the events of To Honor, this prequel novella is taking on a life of it's own, just like the little Easter egg character Sir James. More on that later. No new news on this front except for the “non-official” cover reveal for book three in the Heirs of Elydor series, Fate Echoes and Embers, which is on pre-order. I adore this cover and hope you do too. When it's revealed. Officially. Not that you can see it on the pre-order page. Or can you???? And speaking of covers, I received an Instagram DM from a bookstagrammer who said the cover of Tides of Waves and Secrets pulled her into the story and now she's ready both books, plus Bloodwite. If you've been with me a while, you know that is one of my lesser known but ALL TIME fav series so, woohoo!
