It's release day for Come Back To Me 🥹🥹

 

I'm so happy that Cody and Tee are out into the wild because their story deserves to be heard and these two wonderful characters, one a misfit, and one Mr. 'Top-Gun' cool, are just so beautifully meant to be that I know they'll make your hearts smile.

 

Thank you for sticking with me on this nine-month publishing hiatus. Writer's block was a bish and the hump is hopefully humped! Don't forget that this series IS tied to the Five Points' Universe so be sure to catch up with the shenanigans because you know me... I love me some cameos and Easter Eggs!! When you get your mittens on Stan, a lot of links will begin to make sense. 😈

 

Just as an FYI, if you buy the paperbacks from my store, they come with swag and signed bookplates but there's also a special edition, full-color interior, special formatting, and dual covers so you never have to decide which you prefer best. 😜

 

Funnily enough, today’s my nanna’s birthday and yesterday is the anniversary of the passing of Trever (my beloved Yorkie.) I released Filthy King three years ago and today, I release Come Back To Me.

 

June… not necessarily my favorite month but there have been some definite highs.

 

I like to think the dips and the troughs are what helps my craft. To live is to be human and to be human is to write stories with heart. We change with every passing year, as does an author’s written word. Someone told me that the funny parts of this book are top tier and I never really associate myself with humor. Mostly sarcasm. That British wit, you know? Lol. But there you go. 2024/5 is the year I turned funny. 

 

The last few days, I've actually been sick so that's a ride lol. But we're here! We made it!

“Where’s your phone? I want to see your search history.”

Innocent expression fixed in place, I hand it to her once I’ve unlocked the screen. That’s when she shrieks and plants it to her chest. Cheeks burning, she scours the store for anyone who might have seen. “What the hell, Cody?”

I hitch a shoulder. “My personal cell. No one will see apart from me.”

“And me, apparently,” she wails, but it doesn’t stop her from tipping the screen so she can see the photo of her ass bearing my teeth marks. Her throat bobs the longer she studies the image, and I’m left dealing with the beginnings of a boner—honestly, her reactions are so fucking delicious.

“Imagine the album I’ll have curated by the time I have a white beard worthy of Gandalf,” I croon, sliding my hand over her shoulder as I tug her into me.

She uses me to prop herself up. “I-I want to pick the wallpapers.” The words bleed with her nerves, but there’s a lot of curiosity there too.

“Sure.”

This whole thing is a trust exercise anyway. I know how much it means for her to give me permission to photograph her like that.

“I want pictures with you in them,” she orders.
