Cosy Up Indoors

While frost paints the windows and the garden sleeps in silence, we turn inward, where green still grows in pots by the light of the winter sun. Now is the season for dreaming, for tending small wonders, and for planting hope in warm cups of tea and quiet corners.

July: Long-range forecast
It may seem like things are cooling down for good this winter, but unusually high daytime temperatures are still in the forecast for Tasmanians. It doesn't look like much rain is on the way in July, either, yet we've been told to expect above, below, or near-average rainfall for the month.
Night-time temps are also meant to remain unusually high for the season. That said, our wood heaters are lit and everyone, including our indoor plants, is exposed to the crackling heat. Have a look around the house and take note of plants you may need to shuffle about to keep them in tip-top shape.
