Today's message at church was a good one, as usual. It was about
Half-Truths. How many times have we said (or heard someone say) “God never gives you more than you can handle”? This implies that God makes bad things happen in our lives just to see how much we can handle. God doesn't make bad things happen--he just makes good things come out of the bad things. In fact, the more appropriate saying would be “Life will never give you more than God can handle.”
