First name / Hi there, friend!
Welcome to Issue #4 of The Still Good Co. Monthly- a monthly newsletter with updates and resources from Still Good Co! You'll receive a special delivery in your inbox every month. 🩷💚💙
Let me tell you a story about wild inspiration, divine provision, and the countless ways I almost gave up. 🥴 What? Yes! Read on, friends.
As you know, Still Good Co. joined our community's Relay for Life on May 31! This annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society benefits all types of cancer, and it seemed like a natural place for us to go. We wanted to invite our community into a conversation about our innate goodness, metastatic breast cancer, and more! (and bring pretty things!)
I also had a wild idea- What if we gave visitors the opportunity to donate bouquets to cancer patients? What if we let them pick out their own stems, write a sweet note, and feel connected to our cause? I said, “Let's do a service project!”
We could have backed out when…
💐 We lost our flower connection
🤑 The math didn't math
☔ The forecast called for storms
🤪 Life was life-ing
And yet, God seemed to close every gap right on time! The day before Relay, I found myself hugging a stranger in a floral warehouse. Kim introduced herself as a 17 Year Thriver who had been praying for me for a long time. (WHAT?!) She also invited me to come back later that day for extra flowers at a huge discount. I was teary eyed as we loaded box after box of gorgeous blooms into the car, realizing that every aspect of this meeting was Spirit led. To top it all off, I found 20 vases in a thrift store for 40 cents each…the morning of Relay. 🤯 God had this all along.
Every Still Good Co. launch season reminds me of these basic truths: It's not up to me. The outcome is His. The experience of walking with Him and being present for all the small moments He orchestrates is the very best part. 🩷💚🩵
As you walk into summertime, I invite you to look for those small moments in your life. You don't have to plan a big event that almost falls apart to see them. (I giggle now, but I sure didn't two weeks ago!) 😂 No matter what your season holds, friend, remember that God's holding you.
