Hi friends,

Checking in, hoping you are having a special Eid vacation with your loved ones.
I am using this holiday to spend time with my family and declutter what's left of the school year.

This June brings a lot of memories from last year when I was 8 months pregnant and did what I now call the big purge. I am still enjoying the results till now, upper closets are still tidy. and the kids' rooms never went back to the previous clutter state.

I hope you use some of summer time to clear your homes. I have shared 3 sparks below that will help you from three books I enjoyed and recommend.

P.S. Let’s chat if you are considering hiring me to guide you towards your goals and positive habits  in 1-1 sessions ( limited spots available for the month of June) or talk to your team about the science of goal setting, building habits, mastering focus to improve performance and time management, or beating burnout. Reply to this email, and we can start from there.

Snapshot from my week: Congratulations Jordan! A historic moment.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️a newsletter listing 3 sparks that I thought were worth starting your week with. It's the quotes edition; 3 quotes from 3 books I read and loved. The theme is home decluttering, just like June's calendar theme :

1. "LIVE—RIGHT NOW—IN YOUR OWN HOME. As you throw away trash and start with the easy stuff, view every space in your home according to your present. Plan for the future and acknowledge the past, but live now. Commit to creating a home that makes living now fun."

2."Make Room for the New. Clean out your refrigerator; get rid of all those little bits of stuff wrapped in foil. Clean out your closets; get rid of all the stuff you have not used in the last six months or so. If you haven’t used it in a year, definitely get it out of your home."

3. “Remember: even what we get for free has a cost, if only in what we pay to store it—in our garages and in our minds. As you walk past your possessions today, ask yourself: Do I need this? Is it superfluous? What’s this actually worth? What is it costing me?”

Calendar love: This is week 25, day 159 of the year!

Before you go, here are some cool resources I personally use, love and recommend:
  1. PRODUCTIVITY HACK 🎯⚡Tired of opening 12 tabs every morning just to get your day started? I've been using Momentum Plus as my browser homepage - it's like having a personal assistant that shows me my mantra, weather, to-do list, and even tracks time zones so I don't accidentally wake up my friend in Australia at 3am. Newsletter readers get 10% off with this link.
  2. 📙 Can you believe I have been using this amazing gratitude journal since 2017? Here is a link to an Instagram highlight I did about it so you can see it from the inside. You get 10% off when you order using my code: Bardeespodcast10.
