Cincinnati Youth Choir’s final concert of the season, Spring Sing: Kaleidoscope, was a vibrant celebration of music, color, and community. Held in May, the performance featured all of our Resident Choirs, along with special appearances by Vivo Coro and Cincinnati Choral Academy. We were honored to share the stage with our Artist-in-Residence, Dr. Anthony Trecek-King, whose inspiring work added depth and energy to the evening. The concert also served as a heartfelt send-off to our graduating seniors, recognizing their years of dedication and leadership within CYC.

Highlights from the Chorus America Conference in St. Louis!

 

CYC’s Artist-in-Residence, Dr. Anthony Trecek-King, opened the event with a powerful morning sing and plenary session alongside the legendary Renée Fleming. Robyn Reeves Lana had the honor of presenting the Louis Botto Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to former CYC Assistant Director, Alex Gartner. From inspiring sessions to scenic moments under the Gateway Arch, it was a memorable week for all who attended! CYC was well represented throughout the conference, with Dr. TK, Robyn, and Caitlyn McGlynn all bringing a strong CYC presence to this national gathering.
