Attunement with the
Divine Life Force
Dear First name / friend,

JUNE is all about blooming, soil temperature/moisture, sprouting, cleaning and pruning, both literally and figuratively. 
 
It’s about being attentive and available for the right garden (life) task at the right time.
 
Light rains may come at seemingly random times, rain will be needed to nourish the newly planted seeds and sprouts. Weeding and pruning are in focus, whether for the garden or for daily living. 
 
Time to de-clutter, organize, donate and trim excess or ‘dead’ (no longer useful) items!
 
Reading the clues or omens of nature will help us to go with the flow of life, so there is no stress, and all is accomplished by attunement with the divine life force. Watching our inner nature and outer nature should match, if you're feeling emotional discord sit quietly and watch your breath and allow it to balance through both nostrils. 
 
Taking action when needed, and staying still when needed, both have their cycles.
Tips for Quick Cooling!
Keep both body and mind refreshed in the warmth of June, remember:
 
Breathe from the left nostril 
To quickly cool your body and mind. This simple technique can save you from overheating physically and emotionally.
Observe which nostril you are breathing from to help keep a balance of heating (right nostril) and cooling (left nostril) influences.
 
Sleep on your right side 
To allow your body to cool down and easily fall asleep on warm evenings. Earlier sunrises help us awaken early and remain alert during daylight hours. Just as nature curls up for overnight rest in the evenings, we humans can wind down the mind and prepare for sleep with the help of regular evening meditation. Any unresolved worries or concerns can become understood, so the mind can clear, slow and rest.
 
Drink pomegranate juice or aloe vera juice
Both excellent Pitta pacifiers with cooling, anti‑inflammatory qualities and digestive support. 
 
Practice Sheetali pranayama (Cooling Breath)
Inhale through the rolled tongue and exhale through the nose. This simple yet powerful technique deeply soothes, relieving heat, inflammation, and stress. 
 
Wear cool color clothing
Blues, purples, greens, whites, silver, to reflect heat and calm the mind.
 
Work in the coolest time of the day, rest in the warmest
Syncing your rhythm with nature’s ebb and flow.
 
Sip limeade
Gently balance excess heat, with hydration. Avoid ice, consume  it room temperature.
 
My Limeade Recipe:
 
1 ltr water
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp maple syrup
 
Mix and enjoy!
Serve at room temperature

Book Review:
The Benefits of NEEM in Ayurveda by Klaus Ferlow

German Canadian Klaus Ferlow, Honorary Master Herbalist was one of the first to introduce the benefits and healing power of the miraculous versatile medicinal Neem tree that offers better plant, human, animal, and environmental health to the West. 
 
As a teenager he developed a stubborn case of psoriasis which was resistant to both conventional and alternative treatments. His life changed entirely 40 years later when he found out in 1994 about the remarkable healing properties of the ancient Neem tree, part of the oldest most successful botanical medical system in the world, AYURVEDA with a history of over 5000 years in the world from India! Within a few weeks Neem had finally freed him of the life-long condition.
