Meet Ida & Rufus Webb
🎉 Celebrating 67 Sweet Years with Ida & Rufus Webb at Sunny Ridge
June 7th was a day filled with sweet smiles and warm memories at Sunny Ridge Living Care as we celebrated a truly special couple, Ida and Rufus Webb, on their 67th wedding anniversary. 
 
Sixty-seven years! That’s a lot of coffee sipped, porches swept, and quiet moments shared.
 
Ida and Rufus are more than residents of Sunny Ridge. They’re beloved characters in my cozy mystery world and founding members of the Wise Weavers Crochet Club. 
 
Their love is the kind that doesn’t shout, it simply shows up, day after day, in the small, meaningful ways.
 
And just between us Cozees, reporter Mya Delacroix couldn’t resist asking them the question we all want to know: What’s the secret to a love that lasts?

💌 A Letter Never Written
When the folks at Sunny Ridge were asked to write letters to their 30-year-old selves, most picked up pen and paper without hesitation. But Ida and Rufus Webb, married 67 years and still rocking side-by-side on the patio, chose something different.
 
They didn’t write anything down.
They simply talked.
 
What unfolded was a quiet conversation, full of cinnamon-scented memories, first glances, and the small moments that stitched their life together.
