This week we are excited to highlight Keri Perdrix for our clinician spotlight! Keri has been with the Rooted Compassion team since 2022 and brings over a decade of experience working with children and families in school and community settings with her. Whenever there’s a clinical problem that her peers are struggling to solve, Keri is there to delve into the deep well of clinical wisdom that she possesses, of which she shares compassionately and generously with those around her.

Keri approaches therapy through the lens of polyvagal theory and attachment-based neuroscience. In addition to her work with individuals, she supports couples, parents, and families in healing relationships impacted by disconnection, conflict, or long-standing patterns of hurt. In addition to polyvagal theory, Keri thoughtfully incorporates principles from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method—drawing on these frameworks to help partners and family systems move toward greater emotional safety, attunement, and connection.

In addition to her clinical work, Keri offers parent coaching rooted in polyvagal theory and relational neuroscience. She’s excited to be currently co-authoring a book with Amy Stenger-Sullivan that draws from these same foundations. When she isn’t at work, you might find Keri curled up with a book and a cup of hot tea or exploring the amazing parks and playgrounds in Greater Cincinnati with her family.

Keri is currently fully booked, but reach out here if you’d like to get on her waitlist!
