If your week feels slammed but you don’t have any appointments on the books…
You’re not alone.
It’s probably not a lead gen problem.
It’s a you’re-doing-too-many-$15/hr-tasks problem.
Whether you’ve hired an assistant or not, it’s way too easy to fill your schedule with things that keep you busy but not in business.
💥 That’s the trap:
- You tell yourself “it’ll be faster if I just do it”
- You avoid delegating because it feels like too much work
- You stay stuck in admin mode instead of income-producing activity
And then wonder why your calendar’s dry.
So take action now: make a list of every task you did yesterday.
Then ask: “Would I pay someone $15/hour to do this?”
If the answer is yes, you shouldn’t be doing it anymore.
Pick one of those tasks and either:
- Delegate it (to a person or a tool)
- Create a 3-step SOP so you can offload it soon
- Or ditch it altogether
🚨 You didn’t get into real estate to be your own assistant.
But if you don’t start acting like the CEO… no one else will either.

On this week’s podcast, I sat down with Kelcie—my actual operations director—to talk about what it really takes to build a great working relationship.
We cover:
- Why communication (not cloning yourself) is key
- The systems that make delegation smoother
- How we built trust without either of us losing our minds
