I have so much more I wanted to tell you, show you, and share with you about The Collective — but last week? Life got real.
My personal life got a little full and heavy this week, and my energy was running thin, and that's ok. I'm just a girl trying to balance studio time, emails, motherhood, and big creative dreams — and sometimes that means I get pulled away from things that matter to me.
The truth is: I didn’t get to fully market this thing I care about so deeply in the way I had envisioned. And as I sat with that (and read through a few tender messages and DMs asking if it’s too late to join)… I realized something:
Umm, Emily… I’m in charge here. I get to adjust and flow! There's no one looking over my shoulder telling me how to open the doors to the thing I created.
So I’m doing something I’ve never done before — I’m extending enrollment for The Collective through Sunday night at midnight.
Not because I “should or shouldn't,” but because it feels right.
Because I want every artist who’s been feeling drawn to this sweet space to feel welcomed, included, and supported — especially in a time when the world feels uncertain and the economy has Creatives second-guessing themselves.
So here’s what to expect:
1. The doors will stay open until Sunday at midnight
2. I’ll be sharing a new mini-book I wrote for Collective Members (but yes, I’m giving it to you too) because it's SO SO GOOD and I honestly just ran out of the energy needed to share it with you (I spent SO much love writing it a couple weeks ago!)
3. I wnat to share some VERY timely thoughts on how to grow your art business in this economy over the course of TWO emails that I'll be sending this weekend. So look out for those. I'll title them part 1 & 2 for you— and how to do it with creativity and confidence. [these emails are going to be FULL of gold so open them even if The Collective isn't for you rn.)
