Beach week. We've been renting in Sea Isle City since the kiddos were actually kiddos. And though they aren't interested in some of our old haunts any longer, I managed to sneak some mini-golf into our itinerary, and when my son asked to take a post-dinner walk on the beach, it felt like hitting the lottery! Things might look different these days, but since I can't turn back time, cherishing every moment is more important than ever which is why this newsletter is coming to you two days late as the teens sleep in and I wrap up “THE” scene in To Cherish before hitting the beach. Hope you're having a sunny day in your neck of the woods, wherever that happens to be. As I mentioned above, I'm writing To Desire this week at the beach, and it's coming along splendidly. It's rare for the second chance trope to make an appearance in my medievals, so this story has been a lot of fun to write. It's looking like a July release at the moment, so stay tuned…

We have an official cover reveal! Next Monday as I travel to London for a book conference and writing retreat, Boldwood Books (my UK publisher) will be revealing the cover for Fate of Echoes and Embers, a book I am loosing my mind over. For more than five years I've been telling anyone who will listen how badly I want to write a pirate romance. And while this isn't exactly a pirate love story, Marek is a Thalassari corsair and more than half of the story takes place on his ship, Tidechaser.
