Beannachtaí an t Samhraidh Ort.
Blessings of Summer upon you, my ceilidh-loving pals🌞

It’s the summer solstice! The longest day of the year, when the light hangs around long enough for a cheeky dance (or three), and the season is buzzing with abundance. Got any plans for tonight? Maybe a solstice shimmy? A sunlit stroll? Or just enjoying a cool cider somewhere with a view?

June’s been a steady one, ceilidh-wise – a mix of gorgeous weddings, from the lush leafy lanes of Westbury-on-Severn in Gloucestershire to the dramatic hills of the High Peaks. And now, to round things off – our public, FREE (yep, zero pence) ceilidh at Copper City in Notts 🎉Copper City Ceilidh Wednesday 25th June.

As I type, there are just 9 spaces left, and while you can rock up without booking, it really helps me get a heads-up on how lively (and potentially sweaty) the room’s gonna be. And judging by the buzz... this one’s going to be🔥
Free ceilidhs at Copper City, Market Street, Nottingham (opposite the Theatre Royal) on the last Wednesday of each month.
Top tip: Copper City's Happy Hour wraps at 7 pm, right before we kick things off – so if you fancy a cheeky pre-dance pint or a prosecco or two, it’s £1 off select draughts, wine and bubbles 🍻💃

As always, no dance experience is needed, and no partner is required; just bring your lovely self and be ready to throw some shapes! Although a sense of humour and imagination always helps😍
