Celebrating 5 Years of SeedNL
The week SeedNL hosted its fifth Annual Event at the World Food Center in Ede, bringing together 130 professionals from across the global seed sector. In a celebratory and collaborative spirit, the event marked five years of progress and partnership in seed sector development. Participants reflected on the power of collaboration and shared a strong commitment to scaling impact in the years ahead. A Communiqué with key takeaways will be shared in the coming weeks.

UNFSS+4 Preparations: Network Briefing Recap
Words alone are not enough; responsible, collective measures must lead to tangible results. That was the call echoed by experts across the international and national NFP network during a recent online briefing in preparation for the UN Food Systems Stocktake (UNFSS+4). Participants recognized the Stocktake as a crucial platform for aligning efforts, stimulating investment, and advancing more resilient, equitable, and sustainable food systems.

That’s a Wrap: E-Course 2025 Closes with Renewed Energy
The 2025 edition of NFP’s food systems e-course concluded with dynamic in-person events in Cairo, Addis, and Nairobi. Starting with 800 selected learners, the course saw 428 participants complete all four modules, while 16 teams engaged in practical workshops. The program brought together diverse perspectives and hands-on learning to strengthen food systems capacity.

True Pricing in Action: Seed Grants Awarded
Kumasi Drinks and SustnReal have been awarded the first grants under NFP’s 2025 True Pricing Seed Fund. These initiatives are part of the Global Partnership on the True Price of Food and aim to embed true cost accounting into innovative business models. Their work brings local relevance and impact to global conversations on food systems transformation.

SEP Kickoff: NL–CGIAR Collaboration Begins
The NL–CGIAR Senior Expert Programme (SEP) has officially kicked off. As part of the NL–CGIAR Strategic Partnership, NFP plays a key role in supporting collaboration and learning between Dutch experts and CGIAR to accelerate impact on global food security.

Poultry Without Borders: Connecting Poultry Value Chains
On July 1 in Amersfoort, stakeholders from the Netherlands and the Democratic Republic of Congo will convene for "Poultry Without Borders," an event exploring collaboration and innovation across the poultry value chain. Organised by NABC, the afternoon program includes insights from the Dutch government and WUR, private sector presentations, and breakout sessions on production and feed sourcing. The event concludes with a networking reception alongside the Congolese delegation.
