Hello First name / Beautiful Reader
We’re back from Mexico—and despite a very rough trip home, it was such a beautiful, much-needed escape.
We spent hours in the ocean every day. The waves were perfect, the water was warm (but not too warm), and the beaches were surprisingly quiet. It was one of those rare trips where we didn’t have much of an agenda beyond swimming, relaxing, and eating as much amazing food as possible.
One of the biggest surprises? My son—who is a very picky eater—tried shrimp tacos with fried Manchego cheese… and loved them. He’s been talking about them ever since, so we’re planning to try and recreate them at home this weekend. Fingers crossed.
The way back from Mexico, though? A different story.
We had two flights—first to Phoenix, then to Palm Springs—and the first one hit me hard. I got super nauseous and even threw up on the landing. Not exactly my finest travel moment. But we made it, and now we’re home, unpacked, and easing back into normal life. It’s been nice to just decompress.
