šŸŒž Hello, hello everyone!
Ā
The highlight of my week was a family trip to Aqaba. After five years, we finally visited with our tiniest family member. That August 2020 trip was memorable after lockdown. I am thankful I am in a better place now in every way possible. This time, we stayed at the Mƶvenpick Tala Bay, which I highly recommend if you choose Aqaba as your vacation destination. The staff was helpful, the family room option was heavenly, and the resort was gorgeous. Here's my honest review on Google Maps for you.
Ā
But the cherry on top was how my weekend ended… meeting my seven-month-old niece for the first time ever! Prepare for an overload of cuteness below. Not to forget seeing her mum, my dear sister, for the first time in nearly a year, a first for u, yes, we are one of the lucky ones who have never been apart this long, and this time, we can happily blame the late November baby since her arrival meant skipping the December visit.
Ā
Our babies were so tired from all the traveling that they still didn't play together, except for some curious looks and a few playful grabs from my boy, haha. I'm excited for the summer ahead, which I now consider has officially started.

🌱 Wrapping Up a Full Week
The weekend was the perfect end to a very productive week.
I wrapped up a one-month coaching journey with an exceptional children's book author whom I was honored to support. Additionally, I held the sixth session with my All-Year-Goals Program group before our short summer break. We'll meet again in September, but of course, that doesn't mean we'll stop connecting on our encouraging WhatsApp group in the summer. However, we'll focus more on relationships and hobbies and continue to send nudging reminders for daily goals and weekly reviews as usual.
I also got to hang out with two dear friends last week, which was a long-overdue catch-up time.
Ā
šŸŽ™ļø Podcast Update
I also worked on the eighth and final podcast episode from the book "How to Change. "It's going live at the end of this week.
And after that… there's a new batch of episodes coming! I've already recorded a few of them.
So, no, I'm not stopping podcasting. Not even close.
Ā
šŸ˜… Where I Am Now
And in case you're wondering… yes, there's still anxiety.
There's a backlog of orders I need to make… shopping I need to do… and decluttering I need to continue.
I'm right in the middle of it all.
Ā
Summer 2025, here we go.

Ā Snapshot from my week: Met my 7-month old niece for the first time!Ā

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark āš”ļøa newsletter listing 3 sparks that I thought were worth starting your week with.Ā
Ā
1. šŸ“µ An Important New Study on Phones and Kids: In this post, Cal Newport commented on a new and important research paper that was conducted using a statistical tool I once studied in university, called the Delphi Method. What you need to know: Experts Agree. Stop doubting and start protecting your kids, especially adolescent girls, from the harms of social media. Do not wait for more studies or books to come out; what we know now is more than enough to act.
Ā
2. šŸ” As we wrap up June's decluttering theme, I'm excited to share this comprehensive guide as a gift to you. It's based on hours of listening to author Shira Gill discuss minimalism and home organizing, which I've had Claude AI summarize and present in this beautiful, accessible format.Ā
Ā
3. Ā āøļø Ā Quote of the week: A self-awareness check. How self-aware are you? Do you know all this about yourself?
"We learned that self-aware people possessed seven distinct types of insight that unaware people didn’t. They understood their values (the principles that guide them), passions (what they love to do), aspirations (what they want to experience and achieve), fit (the environment they require to be happy, energized, and engaged), patterns (consistent ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving), reactions (the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that reveal their strengths and weaknesses), and impact (the effect they have on others)."Ā
