CROKINOLE
A Classic Canadian parlour game.
Players take turns flicking a disc either toward the hole at the center of the board ~ worth 20 points! ~ or, if an opponent has a disc on the board, toward theirs in hopes of knocking it out of the playing area.
It became popular n the 1800s and the origin of the name “crokinole” is most likely the French word croquignole, meaning a small, crunchy biscuit, referencing the small round wooden discs used as playing pieces.
Wee and Geezer alike enjoy this high-spirited, action-packed game!
