Set yourself up for a healthy start. |
|
Ensure you begin your University of Rochester journey at your healthiest and happiest by taking care of the following tasks and reviewing the many health and wellness resources that the University has to offer: ❑ Register for UHSConnect. This secure web portal gives you easy access to your University health records and allows you to securely message your healthcare team on campus. This portal is also where you'll submit your required health forms (see next bullet), so make sure you set up your account before those forms are due on Thursday, July 31. ❑ Complete your required health forms. All incoming first-year, transfer, and exchange students are required to complete the Health History & Immunization and Allergy & Medication Forms through UHSConnect by Thursday, July 31. ❑ Enroll in the student health insurance plan (or waive coverage). If you haven't done so already, make sure to complete the online student health insurance process, where you'll either enroll in the student health insurance plan or waive enrollment, provided you already have health insurance coverage outside of the University. Remember—if you do not waive the University's student health insurance plan by Thursday, July 10, your student account will automatically be charged for the plan in your first tuition bill.❑ Watch the Rochester Ready resource videos focused on health and wellness in Blackboard. These required videos cover primary care and mental health services on campus, activities and events through the Health Promotion Office, and an overview of the CARE Network: - Health and Wellbeing on Campus (must watch by July 30)
- Student Community Support and Resources (must watch by August 16)
