This certainly wasn't a typical week! I'm coming to you two days late courtesy of a family beach trip followed by a conference and writer's retreat across the pond. Finally home and settling back in, I'm excited to start the Heirs of Elydor final book but seriously missing my friends and beautiful Cambridge manor which served as my muse during the retreat. All in all, it was an amazing trip to London and Cambridge that makes me pinch myself to check that all this—a writing career and travels plus new friends that come with it—is actually real. I even had the best compliment of ALL TIME on the writing retreat when a new-to-me author said, “You look like a real-life Disney princess.” What!?!?! And she didn't even know of my Disney obsession! I feel like one sometimes, so thank you for reading my stories and enabling me to do this for a career.

Heirs of Elydor series  #3, Fate of Echoes and Embers (now on preorder) is coming in September. And next up, the series finale. I'm so excited to dive back into this world. There are lots of loose ends to tie up, but since I've known the end from day one, it will be an exciting few months revisiting our old friends and finally getting to Terran's story.
