New Code of Conduct and Policies Now in Effect
The OLA has adopted a new Code of Conduct aligned with the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport, alongside a revised Social Media Conduct Policy and a new Media Rights and Content Use Policy.

These updates reinforce our collective commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all levels of play. They set clear expectations for behaviour, digital conduct, and responsible use of media captured at OLA events.

Education is key! Clubs should review the documents and share them with staff, volunteers, and families to ensure everyone understands their responsibilities.
Nominations for the EPIC Box Showcase
The inaugural EPIC Box Prospect Showcase will run August 17–19 alongside The Minto Cup in St. Catharines. Building on the success of Ontario’s premier field development event at The Hill Academy, this new showcase will spotlight the province’s top U17 talent in a high-performance box lacrosse environment.

Coaches have now received nomination forms to nominate eligible athletes for the showcase. Athletes will be selected based on a combination of coach nominations, OLA scouting and performance statistics, and Team Ontario rankings. A player pool of over 950 athletes will be eligible for 102 roster spots across six teams, with rosters filled by position to ensure balanced competition.

CUFLA and NCAA scouts have been invited and are actively confirming their attendance for both the showcase and the 'A' Qualifiers. Coaches from the University of Utah, Robert Morris University, St. Joseph’s University, Johns Hopkins University, and NJIT are already confirmed, with additional schools expected to confirm in the coming weeks.
