Happy Monday First name / friend!

 

I have to say I'm mostly a fan of Gen Z's influence in fashion trends.  They got rid of high heels and replaced with sneakers.  They got rid of skinny jeans and replaced with wider, looser ones.  And now they are clamoring for personalization.  Even though I'm supposed to be older and wiser, I'm impressed.  Purple eyeliner, however… tbd.

 

The key to mastering this trend is: don't take yourself too seriously.  Listen to your inner child- what colors, icons, words, shapes, and textures speak to YOU?  

 

Make your personalization feel more elevated and less “crafty” by choosing pieces that already convey quality- denim, blazers, sneakers, and bags are great places to start.  Use quality materials like silk scarves and vintage brooch pins.  Experiment with layering.  And most of all- have fun!
