The Cincinnati Youth Choir and Capriccio Youth Choir recently returned from an unforgettable tour of Greece, where music, culture, and connection came together in powerful ways. From exploring ancient landmarks like the Acropolis and Mycenae to sharing the stage with local choirs in Athens and Nafplio, singers experienced the joy of cross-cultural collaboration. Highlights included a service project with The Smile of the Child, relaxing moments by the sea, and a breathtaking island cruise to Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. The trip was a beautiful blend of history, harmony, and heart—creating memories that will last a lifetime.

CYC’s Vivo Brillante program recently partnered with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati to offer a joyful four-week choir class led by Melissa Surman. Singers explored vocal technique, beat, and rhythm through engaging musical games and rehearsals, learning songs including I See Colors by PINKZEBRA. The program created a fun, inclusive environment that celebrated each singer’s voice and fostered musical growth through connection and creativity.
