Good morning! The wait is over, and the 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to Icon Nordy Club members! I’ve already placed my first order, and I’m heading to the store this morning to see the rest in person and show you how things look and fit. Curious what I ordered? This leather jacket was the first item to go in my bag. I had one similar to it years ago (it was an #NSale purchase, ironically!) and I wore it for years and passed it on when it started looking worn. I think this style is such a classic look, while moto and bomber styles tend to come and go. It's only available online, so I went ahead and ordered it last night. I also grabbed these sneakers and these jeans. I almost ordered these and these, but I have similar ones in my closet. I'll try to find them at the mall so I can report back on the fit and feel. The same goes for these Veronica Beard booties; I have last year's version in Espresso and wore them so much! Highly recommend, if you’re looking for a high-quality, walkable leather boot. Then I grabbed this sweater and this crop trench (I love my khaki one so much, and this olive green will be amazing in the fall), and I'm super excited about these leopard heels. I love a d'Orsay style pump, I feel like they're so elegant and flattering on the foot. ( This pair is gorgeous too.) There are some really good boots in this year’s sale, and I can’t wait to check them out in person— this pair and this pair, for starters. I have similar styles from years past, so I may not buy them myself, but I’ll definitely scope them out and report back. I've also got my eye on these and these, for a lower price point, and these for a knee-high pair. (If you need a wide calf style, this knee-high pair is gorgeous.) Phew! This got longer than I planned. What can I say, once I get going, I can’t stop. I’m off to get ready for the store! What’s on your wish list this year? Feel free to reply to this email and tell me what you’d like me to try or how I can help! |

🛍️ #NSale Shopping Quick Tips: - Shop online, rather than in-store. The store is a zoo, and many of the popular items end up stuck in a dressing room. It's a lot more efficient to shop online, plus online shopping starts at midnight, the night before stores open.
- Shop early and often. Popular items sell out quickly, and they can disappear from your cart while you’re adding other things. If you KNOW you want something, purchase that first, then go back and take your time sorting through the rest. (I keep a few Wish Lists, and I order the Priority Wish List first.)
- Pay for expedited shipping. This is another way to cut down on order cancellations. When the computers can’t keep up with how fast the inventory is moving, sometimes you don't find out until a few days later that part or all of your order was canceled. By then, your favorite items may be sold out. By paying the extra $20 for two-day shipping, your order will get processed more quickly, making it less likely to get canceled. (But be aware, Priority Shipping may not be available on all items. If you don't see the option that's probably why.)
- Buy 2 sizes. If in doubt, buy two sizes and return the one that doesn’t work for you. The hottest items sell out within the first few days, and if you wait to get your order and find out you need a different size, it may not be available when you go to re-order.
- Support my business. If you like my coverage of the #NSale, I would love for you to click through one of my Nordstrom links right before checking out. I make a commission on orders placed through my links, which is how I'm able to make this blog my full time job and offer so much information for free. Your support is appreciated more than you know!
