Rethinking Waste:
How ReCircled Turns Fashion’s Trash into Clean Energy
Image item

Over the past several weeks we've been trying to paint the picture around the process and the mindset at ReCircled. When we raised our hand in 2020 to take what was written and the thoughts around the Circular Economy for Footwear and Fashion – we really had no clue what we were doing. Today, we confidently say that we're getting closer.

After getting our hands dirty, touching millions of items and becoming experts in one thing – sharp tools, we can say our learning is becoming exponential. We have prided ourselves on accepting about every “Science Project” you have thrown our way. We knew that most would lead to nowhere (kind of like the place we do all of this in Sidney, NE) – but by saying yes, and failing fast we could get closer to reality.
Reality today tells us what was laid out several years ago around the Circular Economy and what needed to be done was ambitious, however, not realistic and fraught with errors.

Because of the push for a Circular Economy, it has lead us to what is realistic, what makes sense both Monetarily and Environmentally, and is something many others are moving towards –  Material Transformation.

In the coming months please stay tuned to this channel as we are going to be demonstrating what Material Transformation means. The ReCircled Team has put together a 2 minute video that begins to paint the picture. Please click on the link below to view.

Please don't read this as the ONLY WAY – it's simply going to be an option in the arsenal to be responsible. We commend all of the Entrepreneurs who continue to work 7 Days per week developing the systems and processes that they believe can also be options. The more options that are created, the greater chance we have of success.

See you next time,
ReCircled
