I hope this email finds you enjoying the long days of the summer!

 

July 1st marks the official start of the new school year for the administrative staff.  Anticipation is building as we prepare for your family’s return to campus in August.

 

This email is the first of four Summer Updates highlighting exciting news and changes for the 2025–2026 school year. In the coming weeks, we’ll share updates on staffing, campus improvements, and back-to-school logistics.

 

 

We’re thrilled to share that 85% of our first IB Diploma Program students earned their diplomas — an outstanding result above the global average and a true testament to their hard work and God’s faithfulness. Additionally, every senior earned a score of 4 or higher in Language and Literature, qualifying them for credit in English 1101 (and, in some cases, English 1102) at all Florida public universities. Even more exciting, our entire DP teaching team is returning next year to continue building on this success!

Looking ahead, we’re preparing for our Primary Years Program (PYP) authorization visit at the end of August — an important milestone as we move toward offering a full IB continuum from elementary through high school.

 

Finally, we’re expanding our Spanish program! Starting this fall, Spanish will be offered from 2nd grade through 12th grade, giving students an even earlier start in developing global language skills.

SUMMER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Make plans to come early and purchase good quality secondhand uniforms for your students. Once we are out of thrift items, we are OUT! However, the Collaboratory will be open and fully stocked with new apparel, along with some clearance items. Check out the hours of the thrift sale below.

⚽️ Fall Sports Tryouts  |  Aug 11-12

Students in grades 5-12 are invited to tryout for TRS fall sports teams on August 11-12 after school. A completed participation packet, including a new annual physical, must be submitted prior to trying out.  Find the form at therock.school/sports.
