We would like to REMIND you of a significant change regarding our coverage through Pearl Insurance, CERE's Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance carrier. Late last year, Pearl Insurance made the decision to remove coverage for ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY sales. As a result, we have been notified that any personal property sales are no longer covered under our insurance policy.

 

This change is part of a broader industry trend affecting E&O carriers nationwide, which has led to the majority of brokerages across the country discontinuing the ability for licensed agents to sell personal property.

As such, please note that the sale or listing of personal property at Carolina Elite Real Estate is now prohibited. To avoid any potential complications, any personal property listings must be immediately removed from the MLS by the admin team. Additionally, it is essential to ensure that all transactions are conducted at arm's length.

 

Please be aware that transactions between family members or entities with related shareholders do not qualify as arm's length transactions and will require prior approval from the Broker in Charge.
