21 EVERY DAYS

WEEK 1 | TAKE ACTION | DAY 1
Write

“The act of writing itself is like an act of love. There is contact. There is exchange too. We no longer know whether the words come out of the ink onto the page, or whether they emerge from the page itself where they were sleeping, the ink merely giving them colour.” – Georges Rodenbach, The Bells of Bruges

Keep an eye/ear out for words today: notice text on signs / junk mail / food packaging, conversations (between people, on podcasts or the radio, etc.), in your favorite book, in song lyrics, and text you may stumble upon. Jot it down in today's section, cut out a phrase from a magazine or newspaper, experiment with lettering or calligraphy, or try a blackout poem.
