Why Wait For Later?

PLANNING YOUR BUCKET LIST TRIP
Image item
It doesn’t take much to push certain things off to “next year” or “someday,” does it, First name / friend?

 The work deadlines.
 The school calendar.
 The budget.
 Life.

The timing.

But here’s the deal: perfect timing doesn’t exist.

And when it comes to the trips that live in the back of your mind—the safari, the dude ranch, the Italian itinerary you’ve been dreaming about ---it’s easy to assume you’ll get around to it.

This is your gentle nudge, (OK, I am not exactly subtle, its a hard shove)  The moment to start planning? It’s closer than you think.

How about now?

If a safari is on your bucket list – and it should be – read on. I have some itinerary updates which resulted in  better pricing on our group trip September 2026. Check out the link below.

P.S.  Do you have a Travelera Desk Calendar?  Don't throw out the holder when it ends this month.  My new calendars are ready to send, so reply with your mailing address if you want one! I also have some holders if you don't have one from last year.
XO, Jackie
Worth Booking Now

EXPERIENCES TO PRIORITIZE
Some things only get better with age—wine, wisdom, and perspective. But others? They’re best enjoyed while you’ve got the energy, curiosity, and flexibility to fully soak them in.

The most unforgettable trips are  the ones that pull you out of your routine and drop you somewhere spectacular. If any of these are on your list, consider this your sign: they’re not just worth dreaming about—they’re worth doing.

Here are a few bucket list experiences that deserve a spot at the top.
African Safari

Waking up to the sounds of the savannah. Morning game drives. Evenings around the fire under a sky full of stars. A safari isn’t just a trip—it’s a reset button for your soul. (And aren’t baby rhino's on everyone’s bucket list?)
Patagonia or Machu Picchu Treks

The kind of landscapes that make you feel tiny in the best way. Crisp air, glacier lakes, and the satisfying ache in your legs after a climb that was totally worth it. And of course, you get to brag that “you hiked that” to everyone in the office.
Expedition Cruises to Antarctica or the Galápagos

Antarctica is #1 on my bucket list.

Sadly, not even on  Sams.   For the explorer at heart. Nature at a whole new level,  wild, and wildly humbling.

Someone want to come with me?
Let's Make It Happen

Give It a Name + a Timeline: Don’t just say “someday.” Say “Our 10-Year Anniversary in Africa” or “Next Summer’s Family Trip to Italy.” Once you name it, you can plan it.  Many of my clients come to me with their trip named.  I kind of love that!

Reverse-Engineer the Budget: Not sure what the trip will cost? That’s where I come in.   I’ll help you understand pricing and realistic expectations—so you can move from dream to decision.

Start Early—Really Early: Africa requires a at least 10 months in advance, 2026 is already booking fast.
Many of the most sought-after destinations book 6–12+ months in advance. Planning ahead means you’ll get the best, and not the leftovers.
