Ahhh, for this week, it took me a little bit to wrap my brain around what I wanted to chit chat about. In truth...the start of the week felt like a breaking point. To where I was frustrated with myself and wasn't able to set the tone for the week. I was "everywhere but nowhere" and hella deep in my thoughts. Hence...the reasoning this week’s newsletter is on Wednesday. I've expressed this in previous newsletters that sometimes the newsletters may come out between Monday - Wednesday, but here's the reasoning...
 
As I voyage into this creative career...I have found the value and the importance of creating from a place of flow and ease. And to not force myself to create when I feel chaotic within because energy is contagious. For me, it's important that you guys FEEL the good vib3s to set the tone for week ahead...
 
As I finally wrapped my brain around what was inspiring me this week... I found that there is something beautiful when you have been through a challenging experience in your life and you actually made your way through it. It's like doing a sprint. Not too sure if you’re going to make it to the end, but you push forward and made it to the end.  Damn grateful that you did it even when you felt like giving up. Then fast forward to another challenging phase of your life presently that feels uncomfy af and simply just want to give up...

See, when ya are at THIS very point of your journey, it is an opportune time to reference back to that time in the past when you found yourself thinking, "fudge cake bananas!!! I don't know if I can do this...why!!!" but ya did.

What ya want to focus on is the FEELINGS you had felt and see the similarities in the current challenge. Then once you identify the FEELING of, let’s say, unease because of trying something new. And the current challenge is taking a step into the unknown that also feels uneasy. You may start to FEEL a little release within and an inner-standing of, “Okay, I’ve felt this before and that’s okay…” Being able to remind yourself that it’s okay is a way of saying to yourself that, “I am okay” and that you are safe to keep going even though you feel on edge...
 
The neat thing about using past experiences as reference points during challenging times of your life. Is that it’s a great way to remember that you can do anything you put your mind to. And to keep trusting and believing in yourself. 😌😌😌
 
All to say, creative fambam...no matter what you are currently facing. Simply know that YOU GOT THIS and that you ARE going to make it through!!! Even when ya feel like screaming, “I AM DONE!!!” Keep going because you are almost there…
