Hey, First name / my friend - ready for the fourth email in my special summer series? This week is another opportunity to immerse in the feel-good energy of the season!
If you didn’t guess from the subject line, it’s time to laugh - A LOT!
- Laughter reduces stress and tension
- It can boost your immune system and mood
- Over time, laughter can lessen pain
I mean, there’s some truth in that saying about laughter being the best medicine!
When I think about the average amount of laughter in my daily life, it can use an intentional boost. I’m guessing you want more of it in your life, too. Let’s make it happen over the next week.
Notice - Where does laughter already show up in your life? Maybe there’s podcasts, shows, or videos that get you giggling. Perhaps you have a friend or pet who makes you laugh. Awareness is the first step to finding more of it.
Nurture - Get intentional here! How can you lean into those moments that amuse you? Whether it’s smile-worthy or belly-laugh-inducing, allow yourself to feel it and appreciate it.
Practice - Have fun with this, First name / my friend! How can you create space for more laughter in your life? Add funny-filled breaks into your day or set aside a few hours for a meal or video chat with your funniest friend. Learn a few jokes, go to a stand-up comedy show, or notice the humor in an absurd situation.
This is a week to focus on the feel-good vibes of laughter!
