Hi, First name / my friend - I am SO glad you opened this email!
I really thought I had my ‘I’m all alone in this’ feelings under control, but lately I’ve begun to wonder. So, I thought I’d check with you to put my mind at ease. Do you experience any of this?
- Difficulty focusing when it used to be so easy to get into the flow
- A preference for early dinners out that make it possible to be home by 8pm
- Amazement that it’s 2025 yet the same medical forms need to be filled out EVERY. SINGLE. APPOINTMENT!
- Less tolerance of extreme temperatures (hot or cold), roller coasters, and loud restaurants
I wonder…is this me aging, or simply knowing myself better than ever before? Am I losing parts of me, or am I gaining wisdom I didn’t expect? Probably all of the above.
Here in midlife and beyond, it feels so much better to know we’re not the only ones.
This is exactly why I’m building the FLIPSIDE OF MIDLIFE® community. You deserve to have a place to land where you feel safe, seen, and connected. A kind and positive space where other women understand what you’re feeling and experiencing - even if it’s not exactly the same.
It feels good to know I can check in with you, ask a question, and get a response (I'm just on the other side of ‘reply’). I’m here to reciprocate, First name / my friend!
I created a short guided meditation to help you feel the warm sense of belonging here on the FLIPSIDE OF MIDLIFE®. Tap the button below, find a quiet space, hit play, and give yourself 7 minutes to feel the good vibes surround you.
