What if a website didn’t have to prove anything?

What if it was ok to sell ten copies of a book?

What if projects were simply places to gather your work, to say “here I am,” to make something small and true — not for an algorithm, but for yourself and the people who are looking for you?

This is the center of Witnessing Practice, the class I’m teaching tomorrow. Whether we are publishing something for the web or something for our hands to hold.

It’s about showing up online in a way that feels spacious and alive. It’s about making a practice out of how we present ourselves — whether through a mini site, a link-in-bio, a project page, a landing page, a newsletter archive.

Lately, I’ve been documenting my home Pilates practice through a tiny Cargo website called Public Access Pilates. It’s become a living record of this new shape my work is taking. Not a polished brand. Not a huge launch. Just a quiet, weird little page that evolves with me.

During the class, I’ll walk you through a few of the steps I took to build it — and show you how you can start or refresh your own page, even if you’re not a designer.

We’ll also explore:
⤷ What it means to witness yourself instead of perform
⤷ How to name, organize, and present your work online without getting overwhelmed
⤷ How mini websites and soft pages can hold space for your evolving identity - and later become physical objects like books, zines, or even physical newsletter projects.

Come if you’re craving structure, encouragement, or just want to experiment with new ways of being visible.

With care,
Cody

P.S. You don’t have to finish a whole site. You just have to begin. A single page can change how you see your work — and help others find you.
