Hi friends,

I am sending you this after a memorable vacation with dear friends.

As I announced last week, I will be sharing with you the best of The Sunday Spark since 2023 until further notice.

As you may know, I launched this newsletter in December 2020 but I am only choosing content from the last 2 years since I shared a special edition of The Best of when I created the 100th edition in October 2022.

This decision will help me keep connecting with you while lightening the load a little during a very fun and hectic summer.

I read every reply to The Sunday Spark, please keep writing to me!

P.S. Let’s chat if you are considering hiring me to guide you towards your goals and positive habits in 1-1 sessions (July is booked! limited spots available for the month of August) or to train your team about the science of effective planning through goal setting, building habits, mastering time management for better performance and productivity, or the art of  beating burnout.
Reply to this email, and we can start from there.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️a newsletter listing 3 “Best of” sparks that I thought were worth starting your week with.

1. 📌 It may have been three or four years since I last accessed Pinterest, but an author I follow and my sister were recently talking about it so I logged in to see what was new. It was fun to rediscover see how many great pins I collected. Pinterest inspired my wedding theme, my photos and every photo shoot I have done since. Enjoy Look Here For Inspiration, my own motivational board with more than 700 pins! Did you notice my old profile picture?

2. 🏠 My friend is moving to a new house, and I thought of her when reading this beautiful blog post: What Do We Take With Us, and What Do We Leave Behind? Homage to the homes we love and leave. I only moved once, from my parents' house to my current house but found this to be so true and touching. I am glad my parents still live in our childhood house.

3. 💬  Below is a favorite quote that Jon Acuff said during a challenge I participated in with him. It is a reminder that we need to track our positive habits and often reflect on where we were and where we are now to feel that we are moving forward. It is why I keep encouraging my goals group to do weekly and monthly reviews; once we do them we realize how much we’ve accomplished that we might have overlooked otherwise:

“Progress is found not received.”

Before you go, here are some cool resources I personally use, love and recommend:
  1. PRODUCTIVITY HACK 🎯⚡Tired of opening 12 tabs every morning just to get your day started? I've been using Momentum Plus as my browser homepage - it's like having a personal assistant that shows me my mantra, weather, to-do list, and even tracks time zones so I don't accidentally wake up my friend in Australia at 3 AM. Newsletter readers get 10% off with this link.
  2. 📙 Can you believe I have been using this amazing gratitude journal since 2017? Here is a link to an Instagram highlight I did about it so you can see it from the inside. You get 10% off when you order using my code: Bardeespodcast10.

This is Sunday Spark issue #243
