At ReCircled it was early 2020 that we were introduced to the word Circularity. We embraced the word, the terminology, the process, the goals – everything about it made sense to us. Now, after several years of touching products, studying and learning what is possible, the idea of circularity is not lost – it has simply moved in a different direction.
We look at the word everyday, we build process based on the idea of Circularity and today we have a deeper understanding of the possibilities of Circularity. Clarity was achieved once we understood the following:
Circularity can occur at the molecular level, not just at the material level.
Think about that for a minute – molecules, not just material! For everyone that is so disappointed in the progress to date, maybe ask yourself if you have been looking in the right spot. Maybe you where not thinking about molecules because they are really hard to see – most of us don’t walk around with a pocket microscope.
Now ask yourself this – what if we can get materials, content, basically ALL waste back to the molecular level? Now imagine this is true – then begin to think about how we can use these molecules to create needed products – products that would replace Virgin products! Would you call this Circular?
At ReCircled our goal is Outcome. An outcome that produces an amazing environmental impact, creates a process that ALL can participate AND creates the revenue that the system in to dependent on governments or subsidies.
If all of this can be demonstrate, would you still be a skeptic or would you say, “Show me more, let’s make this happen” . Are you the Doer or the Skeptic? Jump on board the Material Transformation Train – it is leaving the station.
