But really, it's so much more than that. Â It's been ten years since I started this journey, fresh out of Interior Architecture school with an M.F.A., a husband and a brand new baby boy in tow. Â Just a creative with drive and a dream and a love of helping people, I set out to make homes and lives better through meaningful design. Â A decade of learning, planning, working (SO HARD), team building, growing, growing, and growing some more. Many unexpected events along the way (oh hello there, pandemic!), but here we are, designing for a decade and beyond. Â A bustling team of kind, talented humans with full hearts and incredible clients who we've loved and created with for years. What could be more wonderful? Â We are full of gratitude. Â
We will be celebrating this milestone all year long in many different ways. We kicked off with a full-team MLK Service Day!Â

We joined together with other Chatham County community members for a service event hosted by the Pittsboro Rotary Club (do you know them?? They are amazing) at Northwood High School, in partnership with their Interact Club. We brought our families with us and worked on making blankets, care packages, and handwritten cards for seniors in need in Chatham County. Â You can see our junior CFD team members in the photos above (they had the best time!). It was a great opportunity to be all together to focus on helping our neighbors.Â

We also celebrated our 10 year with a team lunch at Mi Cancun (if you haven't been, please go there now- it's so good!) Work is busy and we're usually off in different directions, so it's not often we're all in one place. It was a really wonderful time.Â

What's New in the Studio
We've been kicking off new interiors projects this month including an historic stunner in Durham and a gorgeous estate in Durham, and we could not be more excited to work with these amazing clients. Being invited to create someone's dream home alongside them is a privilege we never take for granted.Â
 There's lots more in the works, too- did you see our exciting news about this hidden Chapel Hill gem?  A 1950's family home on the historic register, this classic beauty located in one of Chapel Hill's most historic neighborhoods is in need of lots of love.
