Hey First name / friends!

I know I've sent you way more emails than I normally do over the past couple weeks, and I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for sticking with me and being a part of this awesome community.

To those that joined The Art of Collections, I can't wait to kick things off with you! If you weren't able to join this time around, I totally understand! I'll open up the program again in 2026, so make sure to get on the waitlist to be the first to know when it opens again!

Now that I've closed the doors to The Art of Collections, it's back to business as usual here in your inbox. You'll get a weekly prompt from me on Tuesdays and, of course, lots of juicy tips and resources!

As a token of my gratitude, here are some of my favorite freebies to help you along your creative journey!

Eucalyptus
As I was thinking of new prompts for the next couple of weeks, I had a fun idea! I'm going to share some prompts based on real products that I have out there in the world.

Let’s start with one of my top earners: wallpaper!

If you’re a pattern designer, wallpaper is an incredible category to explore since it requires seamless patterns for designs that take up so much space.

And because it takes up so much visual space in a home, the most successful wallpaper designs tend to be neutral, calming, and minimal.

Which brings us to this week’s drawing prompt. Eucalyptus! 🌿

This is the perfect subject for a fresh, airy repeat pattern, and a client favorite in the home decor world.

I initially painted this sprig of eucalyptus as a standalone spot illustration, but I once I turned it into a repeat pattern, it started to get picked up for licensing. Now it's a top-seller with my partners at WallPops!

Community Features
Celebration Collections
Over the past few weeks, we've had more submissions to the #CreateWithCatCoq challenge than ever! I know part of that was because of the mini-collection challenge, and it was so exciting to see so many new faces participating!

The weekly prompts aren't going anywhere, so I really hope you'll continue your momentum and keep participating and sharing your work each week!

If you want to be featured in this newsletter and on my Instagram stories, make sure to use the hashtag #CreateWithCatCoq on Instagram and tag @catcoq in the actual photo you post so I can find your work!

There were so many incredible submissions, and I wish I could fit them all in this email. I'd encourage you to scroll through the submissions on my tagged page and cheer on all your fellow artists!

Have a fabulous week!
