Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service experience, computer knowledge, and a quiet workspace. Must have a Windows 10+ or Mac OS Big Sur+ computer, antivirus software, and hard-wired internet. Pay is competitive and includes 401(k), healthcare, and tax withholdings. Must be available 20–40 hours/week during weekdays. Background and credit checks required.

 

Signet Jewelers – Seasonal Customer Experience Specialist. Full-time. Remote (U.S. only). Handles inbound customer calls for Kay, Jared, Zales, and other Signet brands, providing personalized support and resolutions. Must have prior customer service experience, strong phone etiquette, multitasking ability, and basic computer skills. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) earn additional pay. Position starts September 2025. Pay is $16.50/hour with seasonal overtime, paid training, employee discounts, optional medical benefits via Stride, and referral bonuses. Strong performance may lead to a permanent role.

 

Paid Viewpoint - Survey Respondents. This is one of my personal favorite survey panels because the surveys are extremely short, they pay in cash rather than points, and it doesn't take very long to cash out since the threshold is low. You can get PayPal payment or gift cards like Amazon. Just something to do for extra, but it's a good one.

 

Signet Jewelers – Seasonal Virtual Jewelry Expert. Full-time. Remote (U.S. only). Assists customers with personal shopping, product advice, and gifting through phone, chat, text, and video appointments. Must have strong sales skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime. Pay starts at $17/hour with a bilingual pay differential for Spanish speakers. Includes paid training, provided equipment, performance-based career opportunities, and referral bonuses. Position starts September 2025.

 

Startek – Remote Customer Service Associate. Full-time. Remote (U.S. only). Handles high-volume inbound calls to assist with billing, service issues, and product questions. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates earn shift differentials. Requires a high school diploma/GED, multitasking ability, and strong customer service skills. Must provide a Windows 10 or 11 computer, USB headset, and hard-wired internet. Pay is $14–$16/hour, Monday–Friday only (no weekends). Ditto Transcripts – Freelance Transcriptionist. Remote (U.S. only; excluding residents of California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts). Full-time or part-time. Transcribe audio and video files across various fields, including law enforcement, medical, legal, financial, and general transcription. Requires excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; prior transcription experience preferred. Compensation ranges from $0.80 to $1.10 per audio minute for legal and law enforcement transcription, and $0.07 to $0.10 per line for medical transcription.

 

User Interviews - Focus Group Participants. Get paid to participate in focus groups. This reputable company conducts research studies paying $50-$75 or more for your time. They are always looking for new respondents, and have lots of studies going on at any given time. I am always getting invitations in my email to participate.

 

Landmark Associates - Transcribers, Proofers, and Translators. Freelance, contract roles. You'll have to complete their test transcript and attach it with your application. Prior experience with general transcription projects and extensive knowledge of English grammatical rules is beneficial. Salary is unknown, but most of what I see online says it is fair, particularly for those new to transcription.

 

Time etc – Virtual Assistant. Part-time. Remote (U.S. only). Provide executive and administrative support to entrepreneurs and business owners using your existing skills. Work flexibly from home on your own schedule with no minimum hours required. Pay starts at $17/hour and increases over time based on client relationships.
