We are so veryclose to hitting the milestone of collecting 1 MILLION pounds of rubbish since our founding 11 years ago - just 2,242 more pounds to go. Stay tuned for a volunteer celebration in September to recognize all of your efforts to get us to this point. Details will be announced later this month via email and social media once we officially surpass 1 million pounds.
In the meantime, we thought we would send a progress report on our work so far this year through July.
31,177 Pounds of
Trash Removed
We see a wide variety of items at our cleanup sites that need to be removed: cigarettes, marine debris, tires, pallets, furniture, and more.
177,398 Sq. Ft. of
Invasive Species Removed
The next step in our cleanup effort includes working tirelessly to remove buffel grass, koa haole, and other invasive plants at our sites.
8,245 Sq. Ft. of Native Plants Added and Maintained
The best way to restore our spaces is through planting and nurturing native Hawaiian plants. These not only make the area more beautiful, but they also add important resources for the ecosystem.
518 Cleanup Events Attended by
