Asturias holds tradition close, it´s not glossy or overstated, it doesn’t need to be.
Its beauty is rooted in something deeper; a verdant ecosystem where
there´s a culture that breathes warmth, and a rhythm of life that invites you to slow down and savor.
We move between tiny towns, each with its own kitchen treasures. Taverns and seaside spots where the seafood is so fresh it humbles you. Where €15 meal and a glass of wine offer a feast. Where cañitas come with familiarity, and conversation flows like the local sidra.
We don’t chase Michelin stars here. We return to places that have been loved for decades, where names aren’t printed in guidebooks, but held in memory.
Sometimes, it rains endlessly. Other times, the sun shines during our hikes with long, golden hours. But no matter the weather, there is always a sense of being received of being part of something older, rooted, and kind.
It’s this feeling that keeps us coming back.
