raise your prices…

Hi First name / biz bestie,

I, like over 15 million other people in the world,
watched Taylor Swift’s interview with Travis Kelce.

And she said something that literally made me pause and rewind the episode.

She said: “Treat your energy like a luxury item, expensive, valuable.
Not everyone can afford it.”

Oof…that hit me.

I had never considered it in this way before.

But energy is transactional. And I’ve been giving mine away for free.
To people. To projects. To things that are just out of my control.

The question I’m asking myself now:
“Is the cost of my time and energy aligned with the value of it?”

Your energy? It’s your most valuable asset.
Your focus, your attention, your presence…they’re all tied to it.

And just like you wouldn’t buy a designer bag for someone who doesn’t value you, your energy deserves the same care.

So, what would happen if you raised the price of your energy?

You’d be selective.
You’d protect it.
You’d use it intentionally.

Not everyone can “afford” your energy, and that’s a good thing.

Some things are meant for your inner circle.
Saved for the people and projects that truly value it.

The rest? Let it go.

So here’s my question for you…

Where in your life are you giving your energy away for free, and where could you start treating it like the luxury it actually is?

Cheering you on,
P
