Spring Awakening

Spring has arrived on a soft breeze, scattering blossoms in its wake. Mother Nature is stirring and lifting our hearts with fragrant blooms and lengthening days.

September: Long-range forecast
Buckle up for a dry spring! There is a lower-than-usual chance of rainfall for this time of year, so be prepared to supplement fresh plantings and newly sown lawn seeds with water to encourage deeper roots and healthy growth. Tasmanians can also expect an 80% chance of warmer days and nights across the state.
Low rainfall and warmer days may sound like heaven, but they can also lead to a higher occurrence of pests and diseases, such as aphids and powdery mildew. It’s also important to start thinking ahead to the summer months and consider conserving water and thoroughly mulching garden beds.
