Both the Casa Grande Main Library and the Vista Grande Library will be closed TODAY, Monday, September 1st, 2025. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, September 2nd. Digital resources are available at www.cglibrary.org 24/7.

We are having some fun to promote Library Card Sign-Up Month with a fun activity: the Library LEGO Checkout Challenge! Both the Casa Grande Main Library and Vista Grande Library will be participating from September 1st- 30th.

Parents, are you looking for new books for your kids to read? Bring your 8-12 year old down to the Vista Grande Library the 1st Friday of the month and join us for First Chapter Fridays! Kids will discover new releases, old classics, and everything in between in this fun program!

Choose Health is a fun and interactive nutrition class series designed for youth ages 8 and up! Younger siblings are welcome to join too. Join us for this weekly program starting at the Main Library on September 5th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Brought to you by the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program.

Do you like to knit or crochet? Maybe want to learn or teach others? Join the Crochet and Knitting Club on Fridays at the Vista Grande Library, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Bring your own supplies. Some yarn will be available while supplies last. Ages 12+ and member led. 

We are having fun with Legos this month for Library Card Sign Up Month, so why not enjoy some movies that go with the theme? Join us on Saturday, September 6th at 2:00 p.m. for the first in our series. The movie will be at the Casa Grande Main Library. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult, Light snacks and drinks with screw top lids are allowed.

Join us for a lively conversation on The River We Remember by Kent Krueger. September 8th at the Vista Grande Library from     11:30-12:30 p.m. Ages 18+ 

Come to the Vista Grande library for monthly gardening tips. The presentations are given by University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners.

Did you know both library locations have study rooms that you can reserve? Study Rooms can be reserved for up to two hours per day. You can reserve online, by phone, or in person.

Volunteers needed! The Central Lutheran Church Adult Community Education (ACE) Team offers general education tutoring and English as a second language (ESL) coaching. Volunteers work one-on-one or with small groups once or twice a week to help participants achieve personal development goals. If you would like to serve on the ACE Team, complete the VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM available here:
