I'm so happy and relieved that book one in my Havenwood Cove Mystery series is finished and ready to go to an editor. 

 

This book has been a long time coming-longer than I'd planned. In January, my 91-year-old father needed care, long distance. In May, I made an emergency trip to see him. He ended up in hospice and passing at home. Hardest thing I've ever done. I spent most of May in Washington, and in June, amid dealing with his estate and funeral, I finished the first draft of my book, as a tribute to him. He was very proud of his daughter, the author.

 

Release date is set for February 24, 2026. The book is up on Amazon for preorder as a Kindle Unlimited, or for purchase when released.

Okay, still not much to show for Journey's Path but here it is. I actually ripped out a couple of inches as I decided to cable pattern. The Journey’s Path scarf mirrors Sera’s own story—a tale of self-discovery, courage, and embracing the unknown. Much like the stitches that weave together to create a cohesive whole. And sometimes, as in knitting, things don't go as planned, so we backtrack and start again! Sera’s journey is one of interconnected experiences, each playing a vital role in shaping her destiny.
