Hello !
Birthday month was a blur… I’m still a little cloudy about what happened (or how old I actually am, don't ask!). August was packed: kayaking, biking, photography, wandering through a field of sunflowers and even a motorcycle trip to a cute little town called Bellows Falls, VT. I’m currently OOO camping; though I think it will be more like glamping at this resort-like campground, minus the fact that I’m tucked into my one-person tent for a few nights. I'll report back next month.
I’m excited to share that I’ve joined the board of The Arc of Bristol County! The Arc was incredibly important to my late mom and I’m grateful to be welcomed “on board” by Mr. Andrade. My first meeting will be in September, looking forward to working alongside of some amazing individuals. My volunteer bucket is now full. I have my weekly commitment at a local food pantry, serving on Hockomock Area YMCA boards, and member of the North Attleboro Scholarship Foundation committee.
I bought a laminator (you're right, it probably deserves top billing). I’ve been laminating my coloring pages to turn into journal covers and anything I can find to laminate! I carved out time to back up photos and client files. I cleaned out Dropbox to free up space and design some digital scrapbook pages from 2017 of the boys.
August also brought a rush of projects, thank you for keeping my inbox lively!

✔ Celebration of Life Tribute: Invitation designs and printed posters for a special clients' loved one.
✔ Local Event Promotions: Refreshed a map design, event sponsor cards, banners, an all-day conference promotions
✔ Logos: A few new fun, simple logo designs
✔ Social Media & Email Marketing: Ongoing campaigns for a few clients
✔ Vinyl Graphic Prints: One of my favorite types of print work
✔ Websites: One launch plus multiple content and photo updates
✔ Weekly Meetings: Helpful to stay on track for some clients.
Porch Garden Update: The lantana and foxglove got fried during the heatwave but have bounced back amazingly and now bring hummingbirds daily. Starving over here. My homesteading has not been successful. The tomatoes are finally growing, small green spheres, plant about 18 inches tall, though they droop dramatically if I water too late in the day. No luck with sunflowers this year, but they’re already on my 2026 challenge list.
In September, my sister and I are heading to South Dakota to visit my brother for our first time, at his ‘new’ home. We’ll be flying into Minneapolis and driving from there, because nothing says adventure like navigating to a Dakota in a rental. I’ll be somewhat online but also looking forward to family time, up north, but in South Dakota. No map checking though, we’re not pirates… let’s hope the GPS works.
