I've never been a cardio girlie—and probably never will be. BUT I do love sprinkling in some heart-pumping moves on the reformer, mixed with mindful movement and intentional breathwork. 
 
These types of power workouts challenge me in the best way, and I finish feeling energized, not exhausted.
