Hi First name / biz bestie,
Last week, I was at a retreat with a friend.
Three days of yoga nidra, breathwork, and space to slow down.
On the final day, we hugged goodbye.
I was staying one more night; she had a flight to catch.
Later, I returned from lunch and found her still there.
Her flight had been canceled, and she was not thrilled.
I sarcastically said, “Oh man… I’m sooo sorry.”
She looked at me, confused.
I said, “Maybe this wasn’t meant to be a problem.
Maybe it’s just life giving you more of what you need.”
The whole energy shifted. Like someone let the air in.
At dinner later, she brought it up again.
“You helped me see it differently,” she said.
“I was looking at it all wrong.”
Isn’t it crazy how one simple perspective shift can change everything?
Sometimes, it’s not the circumstance that needs to change.
It’s just the way we’re seeing it.
