About me
 
Dr. Wanda Legrand
 
I am the CEO & Founder of Joyful Excellence Education Group after 30 years of service in public schools across the country. Most recently I served as the Chief Student Services Officer for Guilford County Schools where I started my career in education. Prior to this role, I served as the Deputy Chancellor of DC Public Schools and the Deputy Superintendent for Academics for Indianapolis Public Schools. Throughout my career, I also worked as a corporate trainer, high school teacher, assistant principal, principal, and regional superintendent.  Despite loving all the various communities, I served in, I consider North Carolina my “forever home.”
 
The foundation of my work is my passion for educating the whole child, making equity attainable and experiencing joy in everyday life including work.

Q: Who is the Joyful Educator Community designed for? 
A: Education leaders who want to connect with like-minded leaders committed to excellence, equity, and joy.
 
Q: Can I cancel my membership?
A: Yes. Monthly plans can be canceled at any time before your next billing cycle. Annual plans are non-refundable, but you’ll have full access until the end of your year.
 
Q: What types of resources will I find inside?
A: You’ll get access to leadership templates, planning tools, checklists, and strategy guides. You will also have access to member-shared resources on topics like instructional leadership, team culture, time management, and wellness.
 
Q: Can my school or district pay for my membership?

Q: Is there any difference between the monthly and annual memberships?
