Why, hello there First name / lovelies…
I am SO excited for what’s coming up over the next year.
Honestly, with how many books I’m sitting on, I sometimes think about your reaction to it and it makes me beam with happiness.
The reason for the delay?
Well, just because a book is written doesn’t mean that it’s ready for release. But also, in the past, I’ve published a certain way and it’s honestly burned me out. I can’t do that again. I have to protect my creativity and respect that I’m not a machine. From 2020-2023, I was writing around 500,000 words a year. That’s insane. And also me estimating way low lol. I think I’ll have written the same this year but the publishing side of things amps up the stress so I’m trying to build a bit of a backlist before I let them loose into the world which means more consistent releases. Yay!
Speaking of which… you really need to watch this space for a more immediate update. >.>
Ohhh, yes. I can’t wait for this one and I highly doubt you’ll be expecting it which makes it even more fun. ;)
Have a beautiful week and if your kids are going back to school, then I hope it goes well. At least, I know in Europe, kids go back to school this week. One of the biggest culture shocks for me was how kids in the US return to class in August! Gotta love all those little changes that make us so different.
