🗓️ This Weekend at the Trail Centre
The trails are calling! 🚴♀️🏃♂️ Whether you hike, run, or ride, all trails remain open this weekend to permit holders. Just sign in and get your day permit from the shop (open from 8am on weekends).
But that's not all — this weekend offers three fun events:
🍷 Wine Walk @ Muratie — Saturday, 6 Sept
A circular 3.5km social hike with four curated Muratie wine tastings, forest magic, and panoramic views.
Start with a welcome Mimosa and take in the serenity at your own pace.

🚴♂️ Buffalo Ride — Sunday, 7 Sept
R100 = Ride + Boerie Roll + Beer. That’s it. It’s called the Buffalo Ride for a reason! (just go look on the R100 note)
Join trail designer Meurant for a social MTB group ride with loads of singletrack and good vibes. E-bikes welcome.
After the ride, we braai and chill with cold beers in hand.

🌕 Lunar Eclipse Full Moon Hike — Sunday Night, 7 Sept
A once-in-a-blue-moon evening! Hike up to the lookout with your picnic, sip on excellent Muratie wines, and witness a LUNAR ECLIPSE with guided stargazing by astronomer Carol Botha and her telescope.
